The NAPFA is the largest professional association of comprehensive, fee-only financial planners in the United States. Our 750+ members and affiliates in 45 states provide consumers and institutions with comprehensive and objective financial advice on a fee-only basis, keeping only the best interests of the client in mind. Neither the advisor nor any related party receives compensation contingent upon the purchase or sale of a financial product.
Financial Planning Association
The FPA is a membership organization for the financial planning community. Members include individuals and companies who have contributed to building the financial planning profession and all those who champion the financial planning process. The FPA is dedicated to supporting the financial planning process in order to help people achieve their goals and dreams. The FPA believes that everyone needs objective advice to make smart financial decisions and that when seeking the advice of a financial planner, the planner should be a Certified Financial Planner.
Alliance of Cambridge Advisors
The ACA is an alliance of fee-only financial advisors providing service to clients throughout the United States. Each office is independently licensed, owned and operated. To be a member of this alliance, the advisors must have credentials and experience within the field of financial planning. This alliance allows members access to research and products which they may use to better serve clients, as well as offering a network of experienced professionals as a resource. All members must be free from commission and referral fee revenue, conform to a Canon of Ethics, and maintain industry credentials.
National Association of Tax Professionals
The NATP provides continuing education and updates on tax issues. Additionally, their excellent research department provides answers to specific questions to meet the needs of its members in providing tax advice for clients.

They offer world-class training, tools, and resources that are essential for fiduciaries to effectively and successfully manage their roles and responsibilities.
MD Preferred Financial Advisors
The MD Preferred Financial Advisors Network offers physicians access to fee-only financial advisors who act strictly in a fiduciary capacity and have completed the NAPFA application and review process.
Centre for Fiduciary Excellence
CEFEX is an independent global assessment and certification organization. It works closely with investment fiduciaries and industry experts to provide comprehensive assessment programs to improve risk management for institutional and retail investors. CEFEX certification helps determine trustworthiness of investment fiduciaries.
E3 Professional Resource Group
The mission of E3 is to empower the members’ personal and professional growth through the sharing of resources, knowledge, wisdom, and ideas in a high-trust environment. Its membership is comprised of six of the largest firms within The Alliance of Cambridge Advisors.The following credentials are represented in the group: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Accredited Investment Fudiciary (AIF®), Enrolled Agents (EA), Juris Doctorate (JD), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). E3 meets twice per year in person and monthly via teleconference. The group represents a critical “brain trust” for the advisors within E3 and for their clients and staff.
